Royals easily take care of Arabians on Senior Night

Hamilton Southeastern honored its seniors at its Tuesday home game with Pendleton Heights, then easily beat the Arabians 53-33.

The Class 4A No. 2 Royals led 11-10 after one quarter, then pulled away in the second period for a 33-18 halftime lead. Southeastern led 49-24 after three quarters.

Senior Maya Makalusky scored 19 points, collected seven rebounds and handed out four assists. Kennedy Holman added 12 points and dished out five assists. Addison Van Hoesen pulled seven rebounds, while Kayla Stidham and Abby Brown both grabbed five rebounds.

The Royals are 11-0 and play at Avon Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
