Drivers need to prepare for significant ramp and lane closures going into this weekend.
The restrictions are needed to move southbound Interstate 69 traffic onto new bridges and pavement. The updates include opening the 82nd Street ramps. The traffic shift is expected to be complete by Monday, Dec. 9, before the morning commute.
Once the traffic shift is complete, drivers will be on new pavement and bridges on I-69 South and the 82nd Street ramps will be open. When traveling on the 82nd Street ramp to I-69 South, drivers will only have access to I-465 South. To get from I-69 South to Binford Boulevard South, drivers will need to be in the far-left lane of I-69 South before 96th Street.
