Carmel Community Players’ Master Classes occur once a month, each focusing on a specific theatrical skill or trade. Each class is 90 minutes and features hands-on learning experiences taught by experienced artists, performers, and industry professionals. Classes allow students to explore different areas of theatre, learn something new or perfect their developed craft.

Set Design

From sketch to stage, learn how an idea can be put to the stage in this Set Design class. In this class you will learn how to make a set from a stage proposal scale (micro-scale set) and take home your own mini theatre stage and production.

Meet the instructors

Amsler

Nicole Amsler is a director, playwright, producer, set designer, stage manager, and sometimes actress. She was most recently seen on stage in Radium Girls (Anderson Mainstage), Calendar Girls (Epilogue Players), Rumors (Westfield Playhouse), and Barefoot in the Park (Hyperion Players.) Recently she has directed God of Carnage for Hyperion Players, How the Other Half Loves for Belfry, Grand Horizons for Hyperion Players, You Can’t Take It with You for Basile Westfield Playhouse, and An Inspector Calls for Hyperion Players. She has designed several sets for local theater.
