Grace Care Center gets holiday boost from Duke Energy Foundation

Nonprofits across the state, including eight in northern and north-central Indiana, will benefit from grants from Duke Energy Foundation.

The funding, which totals more than $100,000 for organizations statewide, will help provide hunger relief and address other crucial community needs ahead of the holidays.

Locally, Grace Care Center Foundation of Hamilton County received $5,500 to purchase food distributed through the Choice Food Pantry and Mobile Choice Food Pantry.

“These organizations are consistently there for Hoosiers when hardships arise,” Duke Energy Indiana Government And Community Relations Manager Mark LaBarr said. “There’s often an increased need for their services during the holiday season, and I’m so grateful that we’re able to collaborate with them and boost their positive impact on our local communities.”
