Dear Editor:

Noblesville is known for being a community who has a small-town feel with big-city amenities and aspirations. The small-town feel comes from authentic engagement with both leaders and neighbors. The current Noblesville School Board, Noblesville teachers and administrators, along with students and families are made up of people who work together, even when they might not agree politically. This has led to the success of working together to get things done respectfully and with integrity for the sake of our whole community.

Our school board, and the way it works collectively, is the envy of many communities in Indiana. There is no infighting, bickering, or back-biting in public or behind closed doors. This is because cooperation and respect for differences of opinion, along with the mission of Noblesville schools being priority number one:

“Noblesville Schools creates an inclusive, learner centered culture that develops future-ready skills through relevant experiences supported by strong relationships that celebrate diversity and promote equity among students, staff, parents and community.”

We have witnessed the leadership of Crosser, Lambert, and Richardson through their work in the community and their dedication to making Noblesville a place where students critically engage with learning and develop their potential, no matter their intellectual pursuit. They are visible in the community and are accessible.

From what we have read on each of the candidate’s social media sources, listening to candidate forums, and knowing some of the candidates personally, it seems clear that voting for Crosser, Lambert, and Richardson is the logical choice for continued success for Noblesville Schools.

We support integrity, respect for all diverse thought, empathy, the cultivation of trust, along with fiscal responsibility. But most of all we support educating students to think critically, engage in dialogue, listen and consider multiple perspectives, to use their voice, and value the humanity of others.

That is why we are voting for Christi Crosser, Stephanie Lambert, and Bret Richardson for Noblesville School Board on Nov. 5.
