Dale Jackson Gaumer

October 22, 1936 – September 7, 2024

Dale Jackson Gaumer, 87, Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on October 22, 1936, to James and Garrah (Bainter) Gaumer in Jennings, Kan.

Dale received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and master’s degree from the University of Florida. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Chi, and Eta Kappa Nu. He worked as an electrical engineer and was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church.

Dale sang all of his life. He was active in church choirs in Fort Wayne, Ind., and Columbus, Ind. Dale also sang in the Fort Wayne chamber choir and the Columbus Philharmonic Choir. Dale mastered CDs for the Columbus Philharmonic with David Bowden as conductor. He enjoyed photography and wood carving.

Dale is survived by his wife, Karen J. Gaumer; son, Brant Gaumer; and granddaughters, Madeline and Sophia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Gaumer; sister, Betty Fitzgerald; and his son, Erik Gaumer.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument St., Noblesville.
