Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking plans to close an off ramp on U.S. 31 in Carmel.
At 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 crews will close the U.S. 31 northbound ramp to 116th Street. This ramp closure will allow crews to install an overhead sign. This work is expected to be complete by noon on Sunday, Sept. 15, weather permitting.
The official detour for this work will be U.S. 31 to Old Meridian Street to Pennsylvania Street to 116th Street.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution, and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
