Westfield Mayor Scott Willis has endorsed Danny Lopez in his campaign for Indiana State House District 39.

“Danny has the experience, knowledge, and relationships to effectively represent Westfield residents in the Statehouse on day one,” Willis said. “He is working hard to engage residents, and he understands the priorities of our communities here in Hamilton County.”

With more than 30 years of military service, Willis rose to the rank of Colonel in the Marine Corps. He later became an entrepreneur, business leader, and city councilman before becoming Westfield’s mayor, only the second in the city’s history. He quickly assembled a talented, experienced team and, in collaboration with the City Council, initiated a strategic approach to unlocking the potential of this exceptional and thriving community.

“Mayor Willis has spent his entire adult life serving our nation and his community, and he understands how to work collaboratively with others to advance shared goals and objectives,” Lopez said. “Westfield is one of Indiana’s most important centers for business, investment, and tourism, and I look forward to working with Mayor Willis to ensure it can continue to thrive into the future.”
