Beverly Sue Brown, 79, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on April 14, 1945, to Virgil and Lela (Bray) Welch in Bloomington, Ill.
Sue married Herbert M. Brown on February 11, 1967. She had a lifetime career in nursing while raising her four children. Sue’s passion was her grandchildren and women’s health at Humana Women’s Hospital. She was awarded nurse of the year at local and regional levels. Sue was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Herb Brown; sons, Chris Brown (Angela Eckholm) and Eric Brown (Heather); daughters, Carrie Brown and Kelly Bodine; grandchildren, Zoe, Lucie, Marissa, Logan, Lucas and Maya; sister, Carolyn Armstrong (Skip); brother, Gene Welch (Kathie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her in-laws, Cecil and Nelda “Ruthie” Brown.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., with a Nurses’ Tribute at 5 p.m., on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with Mass at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st St., Noblesville. Rev. Clayton Thompson will officiate.
