The Carmel girls basketball team picked up a road victory at Columbus North Tuesday by the score of 57-43.
The Greyhounds got off to a good start, leading 14-5 after one quarter. Carmel led 26-18 at halftime, then poured in 19 points in the third period to lead 45-31. Both teams scored 12 points in the fourth quarter.
Lauren Perry led the Greyhounds’ scoring with 17 points, followed by Izzy Shepherd with 12 points. Keaton Gatlin and Taryn Fisher both had nine points, Megan Hamm scored seven and Mackenzie Woods added three.
Carmel is 8-9 and plays another road game next Tuesday at Fishers.
