County soccer players sweep major Coaches Association awards

Hamilton County swept all of the major awards given by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association this past weekend.

Noblesville goalkeeper Cole Thompson was named the ISCA’s Boys Player of the Year, while Hamilton Southeastern goalkeeper Hailey Wade was named the ISCA’s Girls Player of the Year. The award is given annually to a senior player.

The two Noblesville soccer coaches were both named Coaches of the Year. Ken Dollaske was awarded Boys Coach of the Year, while Mike Brady was named Girls Coach of the Year. Both coaches led their teams to an unprecedented second consecutive boys-girls sweep of the Class 3A state championships on Oct. 28.

In addition to these awards, the ISCA named its All State teams. Hamilton County was well-represented on both the boys and girls lists. Here is a list of local players that earned places on the All-State roster.

BOYS

First Team All State: Kyle Clayton, Fishers; Sam Holland, Noblesville; Alex Pursch, Noblesville; Kasole Williams, Noblesville; Connor Dora, Carmel; Christian Nielsen, Carmel; Cole Thompson, Noblesville; Adam Keleher, Carmel.

Second Team All State: Will Sandlin, Fishers; Hayden Warneke, Carmel.

Third Team All State: Ben Church, Westfield; Reid Spittler, Fishers; Drew MacDonald, Hamilton Southeastern; Max Reason, Noblesville.

Honorable Mention All State: Micah Colvin, Hamilton Heights.

GIRLS

First Team All State: Hailey Wade, Hamilton Southeastern; Kate Pallante, Westfield; Atley Pittman, Noblesville; Meredith Tippner, Noblesville; Sloane May, Hamilton Southeastern; Blair Satterfield, Hamilton Southeastern; Megan Hamm, Carmel; Olivia Cebalo, Carmel.

Second Team All State: Bella Wyatt, Noblesville; Sadie Black, Noblesville; Ayla Conn, Hamilton Southeastern; Kate Malin, Westfield; Mia Smith, Westfield.

Third Team All State: Sienna Mullen, Fishers.
