The Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) has launched its 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign. This year’s Giving Tuesday will take place on Nov. 28, and WYAP’s goal is to raise $15,000 during this year’s campaign.
This annual day of giving is a time to step back from the chaos of the holiday season and take a moment to think about how you can give back to your community.
Donations to WYAP will mean the organization can continue to offer services to Westfield youth, including mentoring, tutoring, and connections with mental health counseling, camps, enrichment activities and more.
WYAP video premier
In honor of the launch of the 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign, WYAP has released its brand-new Story of Us video.
The video explores the history of the program, as well as features interviews with some of the key figures of the organization. It’s a phenomenal resource to share with your friends and family who are curious to learn more about what WYAP is and what it does.

“We have programs & services to help youth and families, to help empower them and take a holistic approach,” Early Intervention Advocate Amy Prater said, “whether that is mental health supports, mentoring, tutoring, connecting them to resources in the community because they are homeless or they need food or clothing, or they just need a positive pro-social activity along with those other services.”
If you were inspired by the video and would like to donate, please donate at westfieldyouth.kindful.com. You don’t have to wait until Nov. 28 to give for Giving Tuesday. The campaign is underway now and runs throughout the month of November.
Your donation will have a significant impact on the lives of Westfield youth, helping to ensure a brighter future for them.
