Noblesville falls to Franklin Central, now 3-3 for season

Noblesville dropped a tough overtime Hoosier Crossroads Conference game at Franklin Central on Friday, 28-27.

Gage Gulley scored two touchdowns for the Millers, with Logan Shoffner and Jacob Baker both scoring one. The game was tied at 21-21 going into overtime. The Flashes scored first and kicked the extra point; Noblesville scored and went for two, but the attempt was no good. More information will appear in the Reporter’s print edition and website.

Shoffner led the rushing with 95 yards, followed by Gulley with 91 yards. Baker was 6-of-10 from the air, with Aiden Brewer getting five receptions. Jackson Peterson and Cole Richardson both had one interception during the game.

The Millers are 1-3 in conference play and 3-3 overall and play next Friday at Hamilton Southeastern.
