Meet Carmel Democratic Candidates

The Carmel Democratic Club will hold what’s called a “Human Library” where, instead of books, citizens can “check out” their candidates for office, get to know them, and make more informed decisions about their own democracy. The entire community is invited to stay informed by attending this event.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, in Community Room A at the Carmel Clay Public Library, 425 E. Main St.
The candidates for office are Miles Nelson for Mayor; Sara Draper and Jake Madore for City Council, At-Large; Melanie Brown, Northwest District; Courtney Culver, North Central District; Jeremy Eltz, South East District; Jessica Irvine, South Central District; and Anita Joshi, West District.
