Tickets and sponsorships are available now for Teter Organic Farm’s annual Farm To Table dinner fundraiser to be held Friday, Sept. 22 at Conner Prairie’s Woodland Hall, with proceeds benefiting the farm’s mission to increase access to healthy food for the vulnerable and provide ecological education while building relationships and community.

“The Farm To Table dinner is one of the highlights of the farm year,” explained Farm Manager Katy Rogers. “We’re on track to raise and donate 30,000 servings of fresh organic produce to Hamilton County residents in need.”

Tickets are $80 each and include appetizers, a three-course meal with a choice of chicken or vegetarian entrée, and two drinks (including beer and wine). Sponsorship packages are also available which start at just $500.

With Daystar Directional Drilling as Teter’s Mission Partner and the Hamilton County Community Foundation serving as title sponsor, this year’s menu will highlight Teter Organic Farm’s vegetables and other seasonal favorites, under the culinary guidance of local favorite Chef Suzanne Rockwell, who has become a local favorite while working in the food industry as a private chef, executive chef and restaurant general manager for years. Suzanne started Chef Suzanne Catering in 2009 and in 2014 opened her own kitchen where she prepares delicious, healthy cuisine for families, clients and party guests.

The evening includes a program with guest speaker Deborah Smith, Integrated Care Regional Director for IU Health. Her background in social work and health care gives her insight into the importance of access to healthy food.

“Without the support of our ‘farm-ily,’ we couldn’t make this mission a reality,” Rogers said. “From volunteers who give of their time, to those who purchase tickets for the dinner, to those individuals and businesses who sponsor our efforts, every role is important.”

Teter Organic Farm supplies a significant portion of the fresh produce to the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank for distribution to local pantries and food programs that serve over 27,000 food insecure people in Hamilton County. Teter Organic Farm is a mission outreach of Noblesville First United Methodist Church.
