Pack the Cruiser was once again a massive success this year. Last Saturday saw countless people from around the county generously donate food and money for local food banks. In Westfield, Open Doors Vice President and Director of Special Projects Carrie Larrison said the response we incredible. “We were overwhelmed by the community response on Saturday,” Larrison said. “We had over 98 totes of food as well as financial donations just from the Kroger on Spring Mill.” The annual effort encourages citizens to donate to help fill police cruisers with food that ultimately makes its way to all the local food banks.
