Dear Editor:
As this holiday season comes to a close, we ask you to be a friend to our shelter animals by making a life-saving tax deductible donation. And thanks to the generosity of a special donor, your final donation of 2022 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.
Donate before 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31 to DOUBLE your impact.
We started this year unaware of the challenges that would lay before us. We didn’t plan to receive a record number of animals leading us to struggle with capacity, an unprecedented hourly wage war, a veterinarian shortage, and rising inflation costs.
We share this because a lot is at stake. At this very moment there are hundreds of animals all over Indiana waiting for us to come to the rescue – but we can’t do it without you.
“Animals are near and dear to my heart, and I’ve devoted my life to trying to improve their lives.”
This motto by Betty White is one that our staff and volunteers live by every single day. Dec. 31 marks the first anniversary of this amazing animal advocate and beloved actress’s passing. Betty White was a believer in saving all animals. We ask that you will use this time to make a life-saving donation in memory of Betty. The animals are counting on you.
On behalf of our team and the animals we serve, we thank you for your unwavering support.
