Wonderland Sleepovers, launched in 2019 by Westfield resident Heather Halliburton to turn ordinary sleepovers into unforgettable experiences, is set to grow post-pandemic.

“After an understandable slowdown in the sleepover business during 2020, we are poised for growth in 2021,” Halliburton said. “While younger kids, preteen and teen boys and girls have been our primary market, we are expanding our offerings this summer to include an outdoor package designed for adult entertaining including ‘glamping,’ graduation parties, weddings and baby showers.”

Wonderland Sleepovers, the first such established business in Central Indiana, provides a full setup of themed sleepover events with delivery, staging and pick up on the next day. Mattresses, mattress pads, sheets, blankets, fairy lights, breakfast trays, and themed accessories are included. Clients can choose one of several themes, including Sweet Dreams, Star Wars, Summer Fun and Harry Potter.

Customers, many of whom are repeat users, love the ease of planning from ordering, the wow factor, and, of course, the smiles. Halliburton makes the events a true family affair as often setups include her husband, Scott, and daughter, Alexis.

As the inspiration for Wonderland Sleepovers, 10-year-old Alexis is a key consultant on theme creation.

Wonderland Sleepovers serves all of Hamilton County, northern Indianapolis and the surrounding area.
