William T. “Bill” Myers, 90, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 23, 1931, to John W. and Mary W. (Carmichael) Myers in Lyons, Ind.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1972. He retired from the Noblesville Post Office where he worked from 1980 to 1995. Bill was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and very active in the National Model Railroad Association. He loved his dog, Chico, and his donkey, Eeyore. Bill enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes to give away to family and friends. He also loved family get-togethers.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Vicki L. Grant; four grandchildren, Jaime Unger, Shelby (Zach) Kopka, Nate Taillon, and Abby Myers; four great-grandchildren, Brady Unger, Colten Eaton, Evelyn Kopka, and Vivienne Kopka; brother, Tim Myers; sister, Donita Hiatt; and his daughter-in-law, Michelle Myers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Myers, in 2015; son, Merrill M. Myers, in 2021; sisters, Geraldine Bryant and Avis Boles; and his brother, Charles David Myers.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., with services at 3 p.m., on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville at a later date.
