Westfield senior and Purdue commit Samantha Brown qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open after her performance at a 36-hole qualifier in St. Louis on Thursday.
Brown, the 2023 IHSAA girls state champion, scored 152 at Sunset Country Club to earn the sole spot from the qualifier and advance to the championship. The U.S. Women’s Open takes place May 30 to June 2 at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pa.
