Westfield Youth Assistance to get matching grants from Rotary Club

Westfield Youth Assistance Program received a $2,500 New Year Matching Challenge grant from the Rotary Club of Westfield, running now through Jan. 2, 2022. Westfield Rotary will match donations to Westfield Youth Assistance dollar for dollar up to $2,500 during this time. Donors may participate and leverage their gift at westfieldyouth.kindful.com.

“We hope others will open their hearts and wallets and give what they can to jumpstart this important organization toward a great new year,” urged Melody Jones, Rotary Club of Westfield president.

Westfield Youth Assistance Program provides professional, family-centered support to the youth of Westfield. The program can include family education, mentoring, financial assistance, counseling and mental health resources, camps and tutoring.

Proceeds from the Rotary Club of Westfield’s annual fundraising events – Bingo Bash and Cool Creek Concert Brat Booth – provide a funding pool for grants to the community’s non-profits and service initiatives. The club donated more than $6,000 in 2021 to various charitable organizations and initiatives. The club focuses a large percentage of its efforts toward supporting local youth.
