Dear Editor:

I am writing in support of Trampas Whalin as he seeks election to serve as Judge of Hamilton County Superior Court 4.

I have had the privilege of knowing Trampas for over 20 years, both personally and through serving on boards together. Over that time, I have come to know him as a man of exceptional character, integrity, and honor, qualities that are essential for anyone entrusted with the responsibility of the bench.

As a military veteran with 21 years of honorable service to our community and nation, I have seen firsthand the importance of leadership, accountability, and sound judgment. Trampas embodies these same principles in both his professional and personal life. In our work together on boards, I have witnessed his thoughtful decision making, fairness, and dedication to doing what is right for the community.

Trampas also introduced me to the Elks, and through that connection, I have seen his deep commitment to service. His involvement in youth activities, support for cancer research, and dedication to veterans’ causes speaks volumes about who he is. These are not just obligations for him, they are causes he truly cares about.

Of particular importance to me is his advocacy for veterans. In talking with Trampas over the years, he has shared his efforts to refer appropriate clients to Veterans Court, ensuring those who have served our country are given opportunities for support and rehabilitation. This reflects both his compassion and his understanding of justice.

Trampas Whalin has consistently demonstrated the integrity, experience, and dedication required to serve as a judge. I am confident he will uphold the law with fairness, respect, and a genuine commitment to the community.

I strongly encourage others to vote for Trampas Whalin for Judge of Hamilton County Superior Court 4.
