Westfield Library to host Adult Author Series in August

Bestselling authors scheduled to share their storytelling

The Westfield Washington Public Library will welcome a pair of acclaimed authors this month, offering adult readers the opportunity to engage with bestselling writers and gain insight into the creative processes behind their work.

On Aug. 12, USA Today and Amazon bestselling author Jacqueline Friedland will discuss her newest novel, Breathing Under Water, a story exploring themes of motherhood, sacrifice, and connection through the experiences of a mother raising a teenage son with autism.

Then on Aug. 25, author and historian Craig Fehrman will discuss his newest book, This Vast Enterprise: A New History of Lewis & Clark. Fehrman will share insights from five years of research and newly discovered documents that offer a fresh perspective on one of the most significant expeditions in American history.

The adult author series is generously sponsored by the Westfield Library Foundation (WLF).
