Setcoski

Katie Setcoski, a Westfield resident and one of the selected artists, gave up her dream of majoring in art due to an injury. She was chosen to exhibit her photography.

“I didn’t think I’d get picked! I’ve always painted for fun – shoes, T-shirts, you name it,” Setcoski said. “This will be the first time I’ve ever had the opportunity to share my photography with the community!”

Donna Curry, also a Westfield resident, was chosen to display her mixed-media art.

Curry

“I’m not a trained artist, but at 72 years old, my passion for art has been reignited,” Curry said. “This gallery is a fantastic platform that combines my love for art and books. I can’t wait to share my nature-inspired and spiritual pieces with the public.”

Downey

“Our goal is to enrich the community’s cultural landscape and provide a platform for local artists to shine,” WLF Executive Director Erin Downey said. “We are thrilled to see the diverse talent represented on our Art Gallery Wall, showcasing the creativity that makes our community unique. This initiative not only supports our local artists but also invites library patrons to engage with art in a meaningful way.”
