Santa and his elves are hard at work making this coming holiday season special. This year, he’ll be getting some help from staff at the City of Westfield as they collect letters to Santa until Dec. 18.
There will be red mailboxes located outside of the City Services Center (2728 E 171st St.) and inside the breezeway at the Westfield Public Safety Building (17535 Dartown Road) beginning today.
This is the first year the city has started a collection for Santa letters. There is no need for a stamp, as the letters will be delivered to the North Pole free of charge.
