The Westfield volleyball team came from two sets down to beat Southport Wednesday at The Rock.
The Shamrocks won 23-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-10, 15-10. Westfield coach Sandra Burks said her team worked on discipline and accountability in practice, also stressing consistency. The Shamrocks used Kenzie Daffinee from the back row, which worked out well and gave the team more options. Burks was happy with Westfield’s play and its comeback.
The Shamrocks travel to Yorktown this weekend for a tournament.

Carmel hosted Yorktown Wednesday night and fell to the defending Class 4A state champions 25-11, 25-20, 25-12.
