In an all-county match up, the Noblesville volleyball team beat Westfield in four sets, 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 25-21, at the Shamrocks’ CSI Gymnasium on Thursday.
It was the first Hoosier Crossroads Conference victory of the season for the Millers, who are 1-2 in the conference and 9-3 overall. Noblesville hosts its own invitational on Saturday. Westfield is 2-1 in the conference and 8-4 overall, and hosts Carmel on Monday.

Hamilton Heights picked up a four-set Hoosier Conference win at Western on Thursday, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17.
Audrey Peterson made big blocks for the Huskies, while Lauren Lewis hit several kills on the outside. Ryan Sanders came in from junior varsity and picked up big points for the varsity team. The Heights JV won its match 25-12, 25-23.
The Huskies are unbeaten in the conference at 4-0 and 11-6 overall. They play Tuesday at Noblesville.

University also got a four-set win on Thursday, beating Shortridge 25-10, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17.
The Trailblazers played aggressively, serving 27 aces and hitting 10 kills. University is 5-3 and plays next Thursday at Liberty Christian.

Sheridan dropped a tough five-set match at Carroll on Thursday, falling 20-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-10 in a Hoosier Heartland Conference contest.
Senne IJzer served five aces, followed by Claudia Headlee with two. IJzer also hit 18 kills, followed by Shelby Eaton with six and Lexi Lewin with five. Nova Cross handed out 30 assists. Jacquellynne Bates collected 28 digs, followed by IJzer with 17 and Payton Warren with 15.
The Blackhawks are 1-3 in the conference and 3-8 overall. Sheridan plays at the Indiana School for the Deaf tournament on Saturday.
