The Hamilton Southeastern volleyball team swept Zionsville in a Thursday Hoosier Crossroads Conference match, 25-14, 25-7, 25-12.
Avery Hobson blasted 16 kills for the Royals, while Tenille Wash served six aces. Macy Hinshaw handed out 21 assists and Emily Weber dished out 12 assists. Meghan Slaninka collected eight digs.
Southeastern is 5-0 in conference play and 14-2 overall. The Royals play Monday at Wapahani.
Fishers also won an HCC match on Thursday, sweeping Avon in straight sets.
Individual set scores were not available. The Tigers are 5-1 in HCC play and 14-4 overall, with their next match Tuesday at Mount Vernon.
Noblesville dropped a four-set HCC match to Franklin Central on Thursday, 25-21, 17-25, 25-18, 27-25.
Aubrey Stitcher led the Millers’ offense with 14 kills. Ella Peter put down 10 kills and Gabby Weihe had nine kills. Riley Branch handed out 42 assists and served three aces.
Diana Cox collected 18 digs, while Maddie Coates had 11 digs, Branch had six and Stitcher collceted two. Peters made six blocks.
Noblesville is 1-4 in conference play and 9-8 overall. The Millers travel to Greenfield-Central on Saturday to play in the school’s Cougar Challenge.
Hamilton Heights dropped a five-set match to Pendleton Heights on Thursday, 25-20, 21-25, 8-25, 25-23, 15-13.
Kami Skiles led the Huskies in blocking and Jordan Fryman had a solid night serving.
Heights is 12-4 and hosts Scecina on Monday.
University dropped a three-set match to Covenant Christian on Thursday, 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.
The Trailblazers are 2-13 and host Bethesda Christian on Saturday.
