The Sheridan volleyball team took care of Carroll in a three-set sweep Thursday, winning the Hoosier Heartland Conference match 25-12, 25-20, 25-12.
Eva Todd totaled 21 service points, while Adria Jump had 14 service points. Both served seven aces. Lainey Mendenhall spiked 16 kills, followed by Jump with six, Amiyah Doss with five and Beth Adams with four. Jump handed out 27 assists.
Meredith Krupp scooped up 14 digs, while Jump collected 10 digs, Adams had seven, and Mendenhall and Todd both had four.
The Blackhawks are 7-3 and play in the Lapel Invitational on Saturday.

Hamilton Heights swept Western 25-15, 25-4, 25-22 Thursday in a Hoosier Conference match.
Reagan Vankirk and Macie Smith both played solid for the Huskies, contributing good outside hitting.
Heights is 13-4 and hosts Noblesville on Tuesday.
