Indiana Gateway Digital Academy (INGDA) and Indiana Gateway Alternative School (INGAS) held their commencement exercises for more than 500 students last Saturday, May 30. Jazlyn Deane is the Class of 2026 Valedictorian. A unique feature to the ceremony is this was the first time that many of these students met their peers and teachers in-person. That’s because INGDA and INGAS are K12-powered, tuition-free, online public schools. Many of the students who attend face unique challenges such as full-time work, caregiving, or chronic illnesses and/or use online learning to pursue an elite sport, hobby, or another passion of theirs outside of school.
