Vietnam Vets to get recognition they deserve at Fishers ceremony March 29

The City of Fishers, a Commemorative Partner of the Vietnam War Commemoration, will celebrate National Vietnam War Veterans Day with a free public ceremony from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, 6 Municipal Drive.

The program will honor veterans and their families who served during the Vietnam War period and will include an address by guest speaker, State Senator John Crane, and a Vietnam Veteran’s lapel pin presentation.

ADA parking is available in the City Hall parking lot, as well as the north Fire Department lot. A parking map is available at this link.

In the event of severe weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Fishers YMCA, 9012 E. 126th St.

Registration for the event is not required, but attendees can fill out this form to be notified if there is a change of location. The event will also be livestreamed on the Fishers Magazine Facebook page.
