Noblesville has gotten its first two candidates for school board in this year’s  election. The non-partisan vote will be November 8 in conjunction with the off-year general election.

Two seats are at stake this year on the five-member Noblesville school board. Both seats will be filled at-large by voters throughout the city and township.

Filing on Thursday was Misti Ray, followed by Joe Forgey on Friday. In addition, a second candidate in Hamilton Southeastern’s District 2, Janet Pritchett will oppose Juanita Albright, who filed previously.

Filing continues until noon on Aug. 26 for seats on boards in all six county school districts.
