The Noblesville girls track and field team defended its championship at the Pendleton Heights Invitational on Tuesday.
The Millers scored 150.5 points and won six events, including four of the five field events. Hannah Alexander swept the shot put and discus, while Malina Miller and Rylee Hassam finished 1-2 in the high jump. Delaney Teachnor was first in the pole vault.
On the track, the Noblesville 4×800 relay team of Brinkley Cooper, Ansley Applegate, Riley Flynn and Summer Rempe won that event, and Rempe later came back to claim the 800 run.

Noblesville’s boys track and field team hosted its Miller Invitational on Tuesday.
Mount Vernon won the meet with a score of 128 points, with Hamilton Southeastern placing second with 98 points. Noblesville was third, totaling 85 points.
The Royals won two events, starting with their 4×100 relay team of Silas Newton, Christian Ortiz, Ethan Falconer and Mason Alexander. The Southeastern team edged out the Millers by .01 seconds for first place. Teddy Miller got a victory in the discus.
Noblesville put together a 1-2-3 sweep in the 1600 run. Jack Strong won the race, followed by Asher Propst in second and Alec Moor in third.

Fishers won an all-county boys dual meet over Westfield Tuesday, 72-60.
The Tigers won nine of the 16 events, including a double win from Tyler Tarter in the 110 and 300 hurdles. Other Fishers winners were Tommy Clark in the 1600 run, Makell Wiggins in the 800 run, Joel Gates in the discus and JonAnthony Hall in the long jump. The Tigers also swept all three relays.
Westfield picked up a double victory from Cade Parker in the 100 and 200 dashes. Other Shamrocks winners were Colin Lakomek in the 400 dash, Ian Porter in the 3200 run, Tom Ewing in the shot put, Robert Campbell in the high jump and Alex Wilson in the pole vault.
