Members of the Tipton FFA competed at the District Leadership Contests held at Carroll Jr./Sr. High School earlier this month.
Members placing first will represent Tipton at the state competition during the Indiana FFA State Convention in June.
The leadership development events (LDEs) focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication, and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is being taught in the agricultural classroom.
Maggie Cline represented Tipton by serving as the District V Secretary.
