Tigers beat Marauders, stay perfect at 4-0

Fishers made a comeback in the third quarter, and that helped the Tigers to a 60-58 victory over Mount Vernon Saturday night at the Tiger Den.
The win kept Fishes’ undefeated record intact; Fishers is now 4-0. The Tigers led 11-10 after the first quarter, with Jeffrey Simmons scoring seven of those points.
The Marauders held the Tigers to eight points in the second period and went into half leading 25-19. Fishers answered back with a 20-point third quarter, including 11 points from Alex Szilagyi. The game was tied at 39-39 after three periods, and the Tigers used balanced scoring to get the win, as six different players scored in the fourth.
Szilagyi finished the game with 22 points, including five 3-pointers. Simmons scored 17 points and Charlie Smith added 10.
Fishers next plays Friday when it hosts Shenandoah.
