Three Dog Bakery, located in the Hamilton Town Center at 13904 Town Center Blvd, Suite 200, Noblesville, will begin its annual month-long Food Drive for Rescues on May 1 in support of the local rescue Heartbeat4paws. In 2022, Three Dog Bakeries across the country raised over $21,500 for local pups in need.
“At Three Dog Bakery, we believe dogs deserve unconditional love, just as they give to us,” said Ally Homa, Director of Marketing for Bakeries. “We are so proud to be working with fantastic organizations around the country who have dedicated themselves to caring for homeless pups so they can find their forever homes. We are happy to partner with our communities to do our part to better the lives of these wonderful dogs.”
Throughout the month of May, customers can purchase a paper dog bowl to hang in the stores to represent their donation to the food drive. Bowls can be purchased for any amount, and proceeds will be used to purchase and donate dog food to Heartbeat4paws.
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 3.1 million dogs enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide each year, and there is always a need for dog food. Every dollar raised through Three Dog Bakery’s food drive helps feed shelter dogs in need.
“We love supporting our local rescues and our annual food drive is one big way we can provide them with food so their money can be used for other important needs,” said Stacey Petcu, owner of Three Dog Bakery locations in Indianapolis.
