Noblesville Main Street’s “Pay It Forward” program is now in its third year, and one local business raced rubber ducks to the tune of $2,000 in charitable donations.
In Pay It Forward, local businesses buy sets of 100 rubber duck race tickets and name a local nonprofit to get the prize money if any of their ducks win. Noblesville Main Street is a nonprofit, so this program allows businesses to potentially support two charitable organizations at once.
This year, Sease, Gerig & Associates won first and third place, giving a total of $1,500 in prize money to Serve Noblesville. Sease, Gerig & Associates gave Noblesville Main Street $500 for duck race tickets, bringing their total nonprofit support up to $2,000.
Other rubber ruck racers who were paying it forward 100 ducks at a time this year were:
- Mtchbx, who raced for the Indiana Peony Fest
- W. Krohn & Associates, who raced for The Cooper House
- Blooms of Joy, who raced for Friends of Hamilton County Extension, Inc.
- Johnston & Company CPA, who raced for Nickel Plate Express
- Church Church Hittle + Antrim, who raced for Noblesville Schools Education Foundation
- Lacy Arts Building, who raced for The Lions Club
Congratulations go out to Sease, Gerig & Associates for double-dipping on donations!
