Westfield families gathered at Grand Park on Friday, Sept. 5, for the annual Touch-a-Truck event put on by Westfield Welcome and presented by Centier Bank, which had been rescheduled from June due to weather. More than 2,000 people attended as kids climbed behind the wheel of fire trucks, police cruisers, ambulances, dump trucks, school buses, and construction equipment. The evening gave children the chance to honk horns, explore big machines up close, and meet first responders along with local businesses who brought out their vehicles, making it a fun and memorable community night.
