The Hamilton County Reporter has named Fishers senior Tyler Tarter as its 2024 Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Tarter was a dominant force in the hurdle races during the season, culminating in state championships in both the 110 and 300 hurdles. Tarter swept both races in the sectional and regional events, something he also did at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference and county meets. He also was part of the Tigers’ sixth-place 4×400 relay team at state.
