The Ice Rink at Holliday Park extends 2025 programming

The Ice Rink at Holliday Park, a Northside Indianapolis wintertime tradition, remains open to the public for the ice skating season with scheduled programming through Saturday, March 1. Tickets are on sale now and include ice skate rental.

The second annual Valentine’s Day Skate returns from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 for a “Hallmark movie” date night, featuring: merchandise discounts, a free drawing for restaurant gift cards and creating a free bouquet with flowers presented by Willow & Star Flowers.

The ice skating season concludes with a special Thank You Skate event on Sunday, March 2 with free skating sessions for all visitors.

The Hockey House returns with eight weeks of Learn to Play Hockey, a fun and dynamic way to get kids free, basic skating and hockey lessons from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesdays and from 6:15 to 7 p.m. for ages 5 to 15, sponsored by the OrthoIndy Foundation. Space is limited, so RSVP to save your spot now. Additionally, guests can rent the Rink for three-on-three pond hockey on Tuesday nights for $25 per person, 20 people max.

This winter, Learn to Skate lessons are back, offering sessions on Mondays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Lessons must be reserved through the Winter Club of Indianapolis here.

Homeschool Skate sessions are available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Friday to students and their families. In the evening, students of any age can skate for half price with their student ID from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to kick off the weekend.

Skate aids can be rented for $10. Guests requiring any accommodations are encouraged to contact rink staff directly at (463) 202-3232 before their visit to ensure an enjoyable and safe skating experience.

MashCraft will provide concessions for skaters, including beer and wine, every Friday through Sunday. The Ice Rink may be rented at a rate of $400 an hour with the option to have MashCraft available. Proceeds from the Ice Rink at Holliday Park will go to the Holliday Park Foundation to allow the park to continue to grow, evolve, and serve the community.

The Ice Rink is located in the heart of Holliday Park, 6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis. The outdoor rink offers skaters a winter experience in nature with the park’s historic Ruins beautifully lit in the background.
