The Heroes Club Inc. has generously donated $5,000 to the Carmel Fire Department’s Stay Alive Family Education (S.A.F.E.) House Foundation.
The S.A.F.E. House Foundation supports the operations and improvements of the new educational facility at 210 Veterans Way, Carmel. This is located on the first floor of the Carmel Clay Community Building and will serve to teach fire and life safety skills in an interactive, immersive learning environment.
“We are grateful for our members’ generosity to be able to support the learning facility and fire and life safety education mission of the S.A.F.E. House,” The Heroes Club President Matt Frey said.
The Heroes Club was founded in 1996 when a group of business executives came together with a shared mission and established an accidental death policy for members of Public Safety in the Carmel Clay community, and has expanded in recent years to provide funding to a variety of programming in the Police and Fire Departments.
“The S.A.F.E. House Foundation is thankful for this initial gift to launch the Foundation that supports the facility’s long-term maintenance and technology needs,” said Captain Renee Butts, S.A.F.E. House Foundation President and Public Education Officer. “We appreciate The Heroes Club for all they do for public safety in the community.”
The S.A.F.E. House has a mission to teach fire and life safety skills in a highly interactive and immersive learning environment, creating engaging experiences that citizens will implement for a lifetime.
