Congratulations to Hamilton County Communications Dispatcher Cindy Robison on her retirement Thursday.
Robison gave 32 years of service to the Hamilton County community as a Police and Fire Dispatcher. Thursday was her last day on a console.
When Robison started, emergency calls were handwritten on index run cards, and she has been here to watch it evolve into the machine that it is today with multiple computer screens and high-tech CAD programs.
Congratulations, Cindy, on a great career. The Sheriff’s Deputies will miss hearing you on the radio, giving them runs and checking on them while on calls to make sure they are safe.
You have more than earned this well-deserved retirement.
