January 16, 1942 – November 28, 2020
Terry Thomas Westfall, 78, Fishers, passed away from complications related to non-COVID health problems on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at IU Health Saxony in Fishers. He was born on January 16, 1942 to the late Oral and Mildred (Reiber) Westfall in Akron, Ohio.
Terry graduated from Miami High School in Oklahoma and stayed very involved with his school throughout his life. He attended Oklahoma State University. His 50-year career was spent in the pool, spa, and billiard and recreational equipment industry. Terry was a natural-born salesman who loved his work. He was very outgoing and loved to laugh, living life to the fullest. On any given day, if you would’ve asked Terry how he was doing, he would respond, “INCREDIBLE!”
Terry enjoyed playing golf and was a huge fan of the University of Michigan. He loved reading, sometimes finishing three to five books in a week. He also loved a good music playlist. He would get his foot bouncing to the beat while he tapped his thigh and half sang the lyrics. In recent years, he found a love for mobile app gaming and through that hobby he developed many relationships with people across the world, spreading his friendship, laughs, support, and prayer.
Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He sure did get a kick out of teasing his grandkids and bringing smiles to their faces. Boy, did he also know how to affectionately push his wife’s buttons. He would regularly brag about how well she had always taken care of him and how after 55 years he still only had eyes for her. He was proud to tell people about his love for her. Right up there with the love he had for his wife, family, and friends, was the love he had for his dogs. He loved his dogs with all his heart. He is most likely scanning the grounds of Heaven for a dog to adopt and spoil.
Terry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Connie Westfall; children, Stacey (Charlie) Strong, Peter (Katie) Westfall, Nicole (Tri) Le and Samantha (Peter) Loso; brother, Michael (Brenda) Westfall; grandchildren, Tyler, Chelsea, Lauren, Ella, PJ, Gage and Wyatt; and great-grandchild, Sailor.
No services are scheduled at this time. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Terry’s care.
