The Fishers girls tennis team edged out Hamilton Southeastern 3-2 on Tuesday to claim the Mudsock trophy.
The No. 7-ranked Tigers got straight-set wins from No. 1 singles Mischa Briggs and No. 2 singles Izzy Mokra, as well as the No. 2 doubles team of Maddie Barron and Meredith Ober.
“I’ve got two really good singles players,” said Fishers coach Dave Heffern. “They both did their job, took care of business pretty well. The No. 2 doubles team that won, that was the first time they played together this year because one of them was injured.”
