The University girls tennis team improved to 2-0 with a 5-0 win over Heritage Christian on Tuesday.
In singles, No. 1 Laurel Buttrick won 6-1, 6-1, No. 2 Duygu Arseven was a 6-0, 6-1 winner and No. 3 Tess Eggeson scored a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. No. 1 doubles Sruti Alturi and Lauren Quinto won 6-0, 6-1 and No. 2 doubles Sarah Coleman and Ainsley Hensel were victorious 6-2, 6-1.
The Trailblazers beat Western Boone 5-0 on Thursday, April 16 for their first win. All three singles matches and No. 1 doubles were decided 6-0, 6-0, while No. 2 doubles won 6-2, 6-4.
University will play at Guerin Catholic tonight.
