Swimming: Huskies girls improve to 4-0, boys pick up first win

The Hamilton Heights swim team swept Eastern on Tuesday.
The Huskies girls won 138-48, improving their record to 4-0 for the season. The girls placed first, second and third in 5 of the 12 events.
Rachel Sanqunetti, Claire Sloderbeck and Ryleigh Poe won a both of their individual events along with both relays. The freshmen had a great showing with Emily Lester placing second in both her events. Tara Holder earned one first-place and one second-place finish, and Kat Cox took third in the 100 breaststroke and was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay.
Divers Jordyn Fiewell, Bailey Haworth and Caitlin Coy also went 1-2-3 to help the Huskies to their fourth win. Sanqunetti achieved her 100th first-place finish in her high school career with her victory in the 200 free.
The Heights boys picked up their first win of the season to move their record to 1-1. The Huskies placed 1-2-3 in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Tony Harden won both events while Payton Tindal was second in the 50 and third in the 100. Matt Crusenberry finished third in the 50 free and Josh Glover took second in the 100. Logan Fakes won the individual medley and the breaststroke and was also on the winning medley and 400 free relays along with Harden. Joe Ringer and Lee Martin also helped the Huskies with first place finishes in their events.
