The Indiana Swimming 2025 ISI Age Group Long Course Championships finished last Sunday at the IU Natatorium as it started, with many Hamilton County champions.
In the 10 and under division, Fishers Area Swimming Tigers’ Gabriel Brown won two events. Brown paced the Boys 200 individual medley event in 2 minutes, 35.03 seconds, then won the 100 backstroke in 1:12.09.
Another FAST swimmer, Jace Jackson, took the Boys 50 freestyle, winning in 31.18 seconds. Fishers also won the Boys 200 free relay with a time of 2:07.94. Carmel Swim Club won the Girls 200 free relay, clocking in at 2:14.78.
Fishers’ Grace Gannon and Carmel’s Kate Allen were double winners in the 11-12 division.
Gannon triumphed in the Girls 100 backstroke, finishing that race in 1:08.44, then later took the 200 butterfly (2:22.35). Kate Allen won the 200 individual medley (2:21.01), then finished first in the 50 free, with a time of 27.13 seconds.
Fishers’ Gatlin Babcock won the Boys 100 backstroke, clocking in at 1:07.99. Carmel won the Girls 200 free relay in 1:55.61, with the CSC “B” team in second.
Carmel’s Mack Allen won two events in the 13-14 division. Allen was first in the Boys 200 IM (2:11.55), leading a 1-2 finish, then triumphed in the 200 backstroke (2:10.34). Linrui An placed second in the 200 IM. Haley Morris led a 1-2 finish for CSC in the Girls 800 free, winning in a time of 9:20.83. Helayna Weller placed second.
Fishers picked up three 13-14 victories. Ashlyn Hayes was first in the Girls 100 free (58.36), Zara Paton won the Girls 200 backstroke (2:23.98), then the Girls 400 free relay team placed first, with a time of 3:58.39.
