Toomey
Early Tuesday morning, Noblesville police officers were dispatched to 516 S. 9th St. on a welfare check. When officers arrived, a person from inside the residence pointed a firearm at officers as they approached the residence.
A perimeter around the scene was immediately established and members of the Noblesville/Westfield Police Department Emergency Services Unit were dispatched to the scene. Crisis negotiators were able to successfully negotiate the surrender of the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on the following preliminary charge(s):
