Flooding was not limited to communities located along White River or its tributaries. The City of Tipton saw its own share of flooding over the weekend, as you can see from these photos of the Tipton City Park on the west side of State Road 19 taken on Saturday, Aug. 15. There was also a temporary shelter for residents displaced by floodwaters before they receded enough for residents to return to their homes.
