Having clean clothes is a constant need in life. Whether you’re in sweats doing chores around the house or in a formal suit for that job interview, you and your clothes deserve to look the best.

With Luna Laundry Lounge in Sheridan, now more people can have their clothes looking fresh as ever.

Luna Laundry Lounge (originally Sheridan Laundry), 3901 State Road 47, Suite 18, has just gone under new ownership that of Amanda and Grant Boone, who have renamed it after their granddaughter and transformed it into a thriving business.

“We purchased this in May – we’ve only had it a couple months,” Amanda said. “We went in and we had to have the floors professionally cleaned, moved out washers and cleaned under them. We had to go in and test every machine that was existing, and any that did not work, we removed from the building and replaced with new ones.”

This has been a quick turnaround for them; they were able to do all the needed improvements in a couple of weeks.

“It took us about two weeks to get the majority of stuff in, new dryers, new washers installed,” Amanda said. “We were moving on it pretty quick.”

The Boones have heard great feedback from the community after buying and fixing up what is the only laundromat in the area.

“What made us want to purchase it was seeing everyone in our small town on Facebook complaining about losing their money and how it was dirty and it was stinky,” Amanda said. “People thank us. They’re always like, ‘thank you for doing this for our community. It’s nice to know that we can come in and we won’t lose our money putting it in machines, we know that the machines work.’ Very sincere in telling us thank you for doing this.”

Humans aren’t the only ones who can walk out of Luna Laundry Lounge with a clean coat. With their new addition of Dax’s DIY Dog Wash named after their grandson, your dog can look just as fresh and clean.

“Once we purchased the laundromat, we were looking at what was originally the office,” Amanda said. “The square footage was not being used; we just thought that was a waste of space. Our son suggested it. He was like, ‘you should put a DIY dog wash in.’”

With reliable machines, a fresh interior, and new amenities, Luna Laundry Lounge has quickly become a clean and trusted staple in Sheridan – for people and pooches alike.
